I first got into skateboarding, then snowboarding.
After that, I started surfing thanks to an opportunity from a senior colleague.
I started out with a yellowed shortboard given to me by a senior.
I couldn't even paddle properly and just floated around for a few years (laughs).
From there, I became interested in single fins and borrowed a longboard from a senior.
I never forgot the shock I felt when I first tried it, and I became addicted to surfing!!
Then I got a used longboard and gradually started to learn to ride it.
I started to get interested in shorter boards, so I asked a shaper I know about them.
I remember asking and ordering FISH.
The first FISH I got was a 6'6" WOOD KEEL FIN, and it looked really cool.
I'll never forget how excited I was just to have it...
I gradually got better at riding and ordered a 5ft FISH.
I prefer it a little longer so I gradually went back to a smaller size.
Then I met Mini SImmons.
Another shocking board!!
